Stress Management

The first and foremost step in stress management is self analysis to find the cause of stress. This is not only most important but also most difficult because it is very hard to accept personal weaknesses and mistakes. No one likes to do that because the egoistic part of the conscious always comes in the way. Human mind always tries to construe arguments in favor of own conduct, actions and behavior to satisfy the ever demanding belly of the ego. If you can control your ego and logically analyze, you have won major part of the battle and are now ready to get rid of the stress and lead a peaceful life.

While the conscious mind creates troubles by misleading arguments, elevating the ego, creating undue desires, it also helps while carrying out self analysis with a cool and ego-free mind. Remember that you are not what your conscious mind tells you; you are someone much above that. Therefore, you have the ability to control your conscious mind, harness your thoughts and do what you should do, not what your conscious mind wants you to do. Once you have taken the charge, you are done. You can now easily get rid of your mental stress, which your conscious mind had created for you.

If you find it difficult, try the power of your subconscious mind. There again, you have to get the help of your conscious mind to tell the subconscious what you actually want. You must be sure of that and be firm on it. Now is the time to apply the power of your subconscious mind using particular technique(s) and be consistent in your effort. The results will gradually begin taking shape. The catch is that you should apply the techniques correctly and practice regularly. Infrequent or half hearted effort would not be productive and might rather be counter productive. Along side, you should try to find the cause of your stress and try to redress it otherwise it would be like getting a wound dressed up one time and renewing it by scratching at the other time. Keep dressing the wound and take care of it for early healing.
